Broke filmmaker Adolpho is a Manhattan wannabe in love with the mysterious woman next door. He puts out an ad offering to sell a movie script, and gets a response from Joe, who says he’ll raise the $250,000 to make the film. The problem is, Joe is a wiseguy with a habit of committing oddball crimes.
