Ballykissangel

Soon after Father Peter Clifford's arrival he is rescued from the rain by a beautiful woman with a bad attitude towards the clergy. Later, he meets the quirky members of his congregation including, one who wants a fax machine in the confessional.

Father Clifford gets a racing tip in exchange for an aspirin. A family living in a caravan plan to bet against the Gaelic football game, in which Peter is the goalkeeper. A stranger from Father Clifford's past arrives in Ballykissangel.

Widower Quigley want to rekindle an old flame. Ambrose believes his accident was a divine intervention, and Niamh makes plans to deal with her disappointment. Eamonn is worried about his European Union farm subsidy until he gets a tip from Padraig.

Father Clifford meets his match in a cantankerous old atheist. Assumpta helps Father Clifford pass his driving test, and Egan tries to close Angel FM.

While campaigning against Sean Dooley for the local representative seat in the Irish Parliament, Brian Quigley schemes up a way to get his message across. Meanwhile, Niamh and her father disagree. And Assumpta's ex asks her to leave with him.

The congregation is not happy to hear that Father Clifford is to be sent back to England. Either his pending departure or the half-price drinks at Quigley's Bar & Grill have upset Assumpta. Ambrose and Niamh finally make it down the aisle.
