When Mark finally agrees to go on a double date with Jez, he's surprised to find an actual connection with his date. He ends up using a string of burglaries to impress her.

Jez discovers Sophie's young cousin is actually a bit of a musical genius, so he and Super Hans bring him in the band. Mark's given the cold shoulder by most of the office when he and Sophie go back to work, except by Johnson and Dobby, the adventurous new IT person.

When Jez finally runs out of the money his mom's given him and Mark meets a wild Australian woman at speed dating, Jez ends up moving out and resorting to crime.

Desperate for cash, Jez is looking forward to his mom giving him half of her sister's inheritance. But when she comes to visit with her formerly-military boyfriend Martin, things don't quite go according to plan.

Jez and Super Hans get a forceful new band manager, and after Jez fails at sleeping with her, Mark decides, what with her cunning business sense and cut-throat attitude, she's the one.

Jez starts thinking he needs to get his life on track, so he joins a cult. Mark's feelings for Dobby grow, but when he has a drunken one-night stand with Sophie and the condom rips, things get complicated.
